The main objective of the Holocaust Memorial Committee today is to educate the public, especially the youth of our communities in the lessons to be learned from the Holocaust so that no one will forget and it will never happen again.

The Holocaust Memorial Committee of Long Island is dedicated to the preservation of the memories of the six million Jews and their Christian brothers and sisters who perished during the Holocaust. Our work involves public information programs and first-hand accounts from Holocaust survivors, with a special focus on educating the youth of our communities about the Holocaust and the dangers of hatred and racism in today's society. It is through these programs that we hope to enlighten today's youth in order to ensure the horrific period of the Holocaust which resulted in the loss of millions of lives, is never repeated anywhere in this world. Never Again!
